Due to changes in how browsers work, and GDPR / Data Protection HSE Library can no longer ensure that IP based access to resources will be secure and stable. 

From March 2026, access to eLibrary resources will be via login only.

Your OpenAthens Account can be used to log in. 

 

Advantages of logging in: 

  1. More secure and stable experience
  2. You can access resources from anywhere 24/7/365 not just your work location 
  3. You can use personalisation where these are offered like 
    1. UpToDate 
    2. Clinical Key 
    3. EBSCO services 

If you use a resource like UpToDate, Medicines Complete or Royal Marsden Manual on a shared computer, someone will need to log in for access.

  • Section 39 
  • Voluntary Hospital
  • Government Department
